No significant side effects have been seen with a 10 gram application for fatigue.

When applied with hyperthermia, high dose vitamin C is shown to increase blood levels of vitamin C in patients with lung cancer. Hyperthermia combined with high dose vitamin C application is recommended for lung cancer patients complaining from fatigue.

Phase 1-2 of clinical trials with high dose vitamin C has shown to increase tissue retention of vitamin C with no significant side effects while alleviating the symptoms of fatigue and enabling longer cancer control.

In clinical practice, high dose vitamin C is applied as a combination with deep tissue RF hyperthermia to cancer patients with fatigue. The cases with long term management of symptoms has been shown in EHOC Congress.

High dose vitamin C when combined with gemcitabine, kills more pancreatic cancer cells.

The trio of gemcitabine, high dose vitamin C and EGCG kills more mesothelioma cells.

Radiotherapy and high dose vitamin C kills more glioblastoma cells.

Clinical trials on animals has shown that high dose vitamin C inhibits the growth of pancreatic, liver, prostate and ovarian cancer, also sarcoma and malign mesothelioma. In addition to this, pancreatic cancer in animals have been shown to reduce in size more, when treated with a combination of chemotherapy and high dose vitamin C. Experimental breast cancer in animals have shown greater reduction in size when treated with low dose chemotherapy and high dose vitamin C. In a similar case; experimental ovarian cancer in animals had a greater response to this combination.
