BREAST ENLARGEMENT (WITH SILICONE IMPLANTS)
The breast completes the physical appearance of the woman. How is Breast Augmentation with Silicone Surgery Performed?
It is done under general anesthesia. The silicone implant is placed under the breast tissue or under the pectoralis, depending on the stance of the person and the surgeon’s preference. Application; under the nipple, the head of the nipple or the bottom of the arm is opened through the cut of 4-5 cm. The incision is carefully placed on the sweat gland line under the armpits and on a thin line under the nipple or fold. Thus, the scars are vague after the healing process. Stitches used are melting stitches.
Postoperative Recovery
People are usually comfortable after surgery. Breast bra and wrap applied. The pain is not high. In the case of placement of the implant under the muscle, the movement of the arms is limited for a few days. In the first days there is swelling, numbness in the nipple and purplish discoloration on the skin. The person can return to his daily life after 3-4 days. After about 1 month, the implant is fully inserted under the breast. The person should stay away from hard sports for 2 months. The person can lie face down, after 2 months.
What are the risks of surgery?
- Complaints of edema and pain in the breast area after surgery.
- Surgical bleeding and infection in rare cases.
- Temporal numbness, increasing or decreasing in the circumference of the incision and the nipple.
