LOWER EYELID DEFORMATION

Eyelids are the first place that gets noticed, where aging can be seen clearly. The source of deformation in the thin skin tissue, which is vulnerable to gravity, might be the exhaustion in young ages or genetics. On the other hand, outside factors like stress, unhealthy diets, alcohol consumption can create problems in lower eyelids. Lower eyelid operation details;

• Lower eyelid operation

Performed by a surgeon with the patient under local or general anesthesia. The ‘baggy’ part underneat the eyelid gets removed. Stitches are done along the lines, which leaves the patient with no visible scars. Recovery period is between one week and ten days. When performed with filling, the operation yields exceptional results. The patient can return to their normal life in a week, on the condition of resting their eyes properly.

• Blefaroplasty

An incision is made 1,5 mm below the eyelashes to remedy lower eyelids. Fat tissue is removed through the incision and distributed on the upper cheek area to clear the ‘baggy’ look. The location of the incisions renders them invisible.

• Laser

Lower eyelids are more sensitive compared to the upper ones. Fat tissue inside the eyelid is removed and the skin covering the surrounding area is tightened with laser.

• Canthoplasty

Depending on the individual, the ‘baggy’ look might reoccur on account of muscle tissue drooping in the surrounding area. If happens so, the situation is remedied with canthoplasty. Surrounding skin area is tested for possible muscle tissue drooping to determine if an operation is needed.

• Eye lifting – Plexr

Ionisation is created on the surface of the skin. Sublimation evaporates solid matter without any transference of heat to the skin. The healthy skin layer underneat the operation area resurfaces and brings back the aesthetic look.
